Case: Copilot Adoption program 'ShAizam'

With the rollout of Microsoft Copilot licenses across three priority departments—Revenue Enablement, Sales, and Partner Services—initial adoption rates lagged. Teams did not know which tools to use or how to use them and lacked a cohesive framework to integrate AI into daily workflows. Leadership needed an approach that would not just educate, but hands-on training and inspire usage and unlock scalable impact.

I designed and led a structured 8-week initiative aimed at turning Copilot users into empowered creators, focusing on Copilot Essentials and Copilot Studio. To make the program create a buzz I named this program SHAIZAM and built a storyline of 'ShAizam' superhero's.

The program blended e-learning with experiential engagement across the following key components:

  • Establishing a core team with teammates and leaders to lead and drive engagement;

  • E-Learning Modules: Focused on both foundational knowledge (Copilot Essentials) and custom solutions (Copilot Studio)

  • Peer Coaching Circles: Weekly sessions to exchange use cases, roadblocks, and workflows

  • AI Coaches & Gurus: Role-based experts providing real-time guidance and personalized AI coaching

  • Myth-Busting Quizzes: Dispelling misconceptions about AI capabilities and Copilot limitations

  • Mini Hackathons: Team challenges to build workflow prototypes, automations, and Copilot-powered solutions

The program didn’t just improve adoption—it ignited a cultural shift. Teams transitioned from viewing Copilot as a tool to embracing it as a strategic co-pilot for performance, innovation, and growth. Based on the momentum the organization greenlit Phase 2: Workflow Automation & Intelligence, scaling learnings into operational efficiencies.
